Thanks to a very generous Islander, this historic Sears Roebuck kit house has been saved from the wrecking ball! Not long after I arrived at work this morning, an unusual parade started down Pine Avenue...City workers busily cleared the way for the adorable cottage to make its way to a new home at the northeast end of Pine Avenue, close to the City Pier.

Thanks to a very generous Islander, this historic Sears Roebuck kit house has been saved from the wrecking ball! Not long after I arrived at work this morning, an unusual parade started down Pine Avenue...City workers busily cleared the way for the adorable cottage to make its way to a new home at the northeast end of Pine Avenue, close to the City Pier.
