Mom and I had been on the lookout for night blooming cerus on the Island, thanks to a friend of Betsy's who came to town last weekend from Philadelphia just to see this plant! Unfortunately, Chuck left town again before we discovered this amazing specimen...which must have just completed its once-annually bloom last night. We'll have to be more alert if we hope to catch it overnight at its peak next year!

Night Blooming Cerus the Morning After
Mom and I had been on the lookout for night blooming cerus on the Island, thanks to a friend of Betsy's who came to town last weekend from Philadelphia just to see this plant! Unfortunately, Chuck left town again before we discovered this amazing specimen...which must have just completed its once-annually bloom last night. We'll have to be more alert if we hope to catch it overnight at its peak next year!
