Mom and I finished the north end of the Island today, or at least the north end that's north of Pine Avenue. We covered Crescent, Gladiolus, Pelican, Gull, Tern, Hibiscus, Alamanda, Rose, Poinsettia (John Wize in my office always wonders why we Islanders pronounce that one "Poin-sett-i-a" instead of just "Poin-sett-a" like we describe the Christmas plant. I don't know the answer, but it's a good question!), Fern, Holly, Jacaranda, and Iris. We're making progress!
