I had no idea there were so many varieties of palms until I moved here to Anna Maria. This morning I was taken by these silhouettes in my back yard, two tall Washingtonians planted by my neighbor in 1957, a Royal Palm in the foreground, and a mix of others to delight the eye.

Palm Trees in Silhouette
I had no idea there were so many varieties of palms until I moved here to Anna Maria. This morning I was taken by these silhouettes in my back yard, two tall Washingtonians planted by my neighbor in 1957, a Royal Palm in the foreground, and a mix of others to delight the eye.
