Mom and I are having so much fun! We're steadily making progress on conquering the north end of the island. These are our normal stomping grounds, but we still see new things to enjoy every day. We headed out over the humpback bridge on Crescent, briefly followed Pine to Los Cedros, branched off onto Hammock and Hammock Court, and then back to North Shore and around on Jacaranda back to North Shore on the Bayside, returning to Lakeview via North Bay Blvd.

- Candy Conte (the Daughter) and Bendy Payne (the Mother), live on beautiful Anna Maria Island. Candy shares her home with her husband, Vinnie Conte, a Certified Financial Planner, sometimes-actor on stage at the Island Players, and super nice guy. They have two daughters, Gioja and Alex, and a fabulously handsome and talented son-in-law, Jared Lacy. Other members of the family are Baby, a chihuahua who likes to terrorize blue herons, and Bug Foo, Kung Foo Mastah and Gennaman, a wonderful Tibetan Spaniel/Shitzu mix who loves EVERYTHING and is almost a perfect dog, except for his unfortunate fondness for lifting his leg inside the house. A relatively recent addition to the family is Alex's son Jack, known to many islanders as "Mr. Baby." They like to say that Jack and Bug Foo are brothers, but it really isn't true, although Mr. B. does drive Buggy to distraction, just like a little brother should! Bendy shares her home with husband Howard Payne, a noted tax attorney who loves to do battle with the IRS. Candy refers to her beloved parents as "The Sainted Ones."
